Chained into Slavery and Drudgery
Of a foreign rule;
Drained of all affluence by the
British, by the cruel!
In a dilapidated state of
Pandemonium it stood. 
Then did the voice shout,
The voice of an Indian
Which thought, fought,
And bought the Paradise of freedom!
