You departed from my thoughts, and entered my sight I tried, I tried with all my might, but I couldn't get you out of my dreams that came by night You left my sight, and moved to my heart I tried to push you away and apart, but your memory stayed in me like a poisonous dart You took off from my heart, and retired to my mind I hoped that I could leave your memories behind, but your sweet smile kept me in an everlasting bind You finally exited my mind, and came to stay in me like a buzzing bee I wish you can see what you have come to be in me
