The death train

by: R.Kallil (Sleepbeau@hotmail.com)

The Death Train Panting, coughing The death train comes Looking for its next passenger Choosing at random It puts in the remnants Of a Life, well-lived or not! The Soul is on its return journey To the realm of the unknown From whence it came, On its own! The passenger is laid to rest- And off the train goes, to the next station. Now, a near-empty platform Cursing, moaning, settling to silence Looking forlorn, in the unfailing doom, Holding dear, the few last, grey hairs Blown-up, to the bosom, for silent cares!!!
