| The Bare Tree |
I sat under the bare tree for so long taht I forgot about the shade and the leaves I forgot about the blossom and the breeze until you came by and stood over me covering me with your arms touching me with your breath bringing me back to life You made me realize that life could be sweeter that it was time to pack up and begin my journey again to look for a shady tree by the blue stream of water that I have always dreamt of To all those women out there tending their tree with heart and tears and watching it die over the years give up on the fruitless soil dear you can't make him love if his heart isn't there
