You savesd me mother

by: Falguni Guharay (ometepe99@hotmail.com)

I write to you On a lazy seventh day As she rests And the little ones grow Unraveling in each moment Marvels of life. I write to you As my feelings stretch out Well beyond my home and ground, And touch the universe. I write to you As my spirit takes on its wings And trots to un-gone places And meet with unseen faces. I write to you from a new life, As I cut loose My other self Tied up in me for all these years. I write to you As I discover That I need to be Much more than I can be. I write to you As I burn with passion Of belonging to all And not just a few. I write to you As I wonder about Belonging to all And be loyal. I write to you As I remember you Often telling me That I was a poet. I write to you To confess that I never believed that Finally I write you To thank you For my salvation.
