| A Coward's Love for a Lost Soul |
It was crystal clear & as clear as water, As time went by... They knew not where the pull came from or Even what it meant. They just unconditionally followed The magnet theory and the domino effect. If one gave a hidden smile from a distance, It was amatter of seconds for the other to respond. She was drowning in the deep waters, She grasped on to him but unknowingly held too close. Nature linked them by supernatural forces whereby... They caressed, longed, smiled... Eventhough she was drowning in the deep waters. He did not promise to save her but.. Ironically, gave his heart and soul to her. He was too strongly bound to his earthly roots.. and is branches were too high to bend... Instead he asked the Gods for thunders so.. He could save himself and let her drown. His immense guilt and fear did not permit him.. To acknowledge his True Love for her. She accepted half-hearted and saved herself. She crossed the ocean & stood her grounds. She knew she had many more paths to cross, and tell her story to many men across... But at the end of the day, she knew her heart & soul Belonged to the coward.
