What World Is This

by: Mary Adeniyi (preciousjewels4me@yahoo.com)

A child full of sorrow and melancholy- Not a child full of laughter and joy. A world full of hunger and pain- Not a world full of kindness and compassion. A country full of lament and anguish- Not a country full of love and sympathy. A world full of wars and massacres- Not a world full of peace and harmony. A town full of drugs and promiscuity- Not a town full of smiles and happiness. A house full of brutality and coldness- Not a house full of carefree days and loving nights. A person full of gloom and intoxication- Not a person full of brilliance and sunshine. A mother full of hatred and anger- Not a mother full of love and tranquility. A family full of fraud and deception- Not a family full of trust and loyalty. Please tell me, anyone, what world is this?
