Saved

by: Mary Adeniyi (preciousjewels4me@yahoo.com)

If I could walk through this world, And say one word of encouragement, If I could touch one fevered brow, And pray a prayer of healing. If I could hold your hand And say one word of joy in your passing. Then I would know that I had fulfilled my calling. If I could walk through this world, And put a twinkle in your eye, If I could touch one cold heart, And pray a prayer of warmth. If I could hold your hand, And say one word of peace in your passing. Then I would know that I had fulfilled my calling. If I could walk though this world, And say one word of hopefulness, If I could touch one lonely soul, And pray a prayer of compassion. If I could hold your hand, And say one word of friendship in your passing, Then I would know that I had fulfilled my calling.
